Jared Haines - Chief Executive Officer - PureSky Energy

Jared Haines

Chief Executive Officer

Jared Haines is Chief Executive Officer of PureSky Energy and a seasoned energy executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience across renewable energy and growth-stage businesses. He brings deep expertise across IPP, EPC, and development platforms, and is leading PureSky’s next phase of growth—scaling a high-performance platform to deliver clean energy solutions to commercial, industrial, and community solar customers.

Prior to PureSky, Jared served as CEO of Catalyze, where he built the company into a top distributed generation (DG) installer by 2025. Under his leadership, the company deployed 297 MW, achieved more than 112% year-over-year growth, brought over 150 MW to permission to operate in 2025, secured $700 million in financing, and delivered approximately 8x portfolio growth in two years.

Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Falck Renewables/Novis Renewables, founded Sol Alliance, and led DG origination at NextEra Energy. He began his renewable energy career as President and Co-Founder of Mercury Solar Systems, scaling the company from two employees to more than 250 and $100 million in revenue.

He holds a B.S. from Tufts University. He lives in Rye Brook, New York, with his wife, Cathy, and their two children, Devon and Carly.

Rami Khadra - Chief Financial Officer

RAMI KHADRA

Chief Financial Officer

As the CFO of PureSky Energy, Rami plays a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and driving the overall financial health of the organization. With over 15 years of leadership experience in renewable energy and infrastructure, specializing in corporate finance, capital planning, and treasury, Rami brings to PureSky his proven track record in driving financial growth and operational success.

Prior to joining PureSky, he held senior positions with some of the world’s most prominent renewable energy and infrastructure companies, including Brookfield Renewable, Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., and Amp Energy. Throughout his career, he has facilitated substantial capital investments and implemented financing solutions that align with corporate objectives and expansion strategies. Rami holds a BA in Finance, an MBA, and the CPA, CMA, and CTP certifications.

MARK ANDERSON

Vice President, Operations

Mark is responsible for developing and facilitating PureSky Energy’s ability and capacity to directly implement its Solar PV and battery energy storage projects by building out the company’s engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) capabilities. Mark is a seasoned innovative clean technology and sustainability project management professional with proven industry experience leading teams in development, construction, and operation of diverse power generation assets, including cogeneration, solar PV and battery energy storage systems.

As a key member of PureSky Energy’s senior management team, Mark has overall responsibility for effectively managing an internal asset delivery team that supports the company’s strategic growth and profitability objectives. Prior to joining PureSky Energy, he held various project management positions, with increasing responsibility, at Navisun, Signal Energy, and Ameresco. Mr. Anderson earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management and Minor in Sustainability from Florida Institute of Technology. 

NICHOLAS TOPPING

Vice President, Community Solar

As the Vice President of Community Solar at PureSky Energy, Nicholas leads all aspects of our customer acquisition and management activities for community solar farms across the US. Since joining PureSky in April of 2020, Nicholas has successfully built a market leading team that has acquired and managed thousands of customers across dozens of new solar farms.

Nicholas holds B.S. degree in Aviation Management from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Co. His career journey in the solar industry started as a Sales Consultant for SolarCity in 2014 and quickly moved into a Sales Manager role in San Francisco. Within a few short years, Nicholas was leading a team of more than 70 sales consultants and six sales managers across Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Nevada as a Sales Director for Tesla’s residential solar division. Prior to diving into the renewable energy industry, Nicholas worked in a variety of industries from entrepreneurial real estate and construction endeavors to retail management.

Bill-Hoebel-General-Counsel

BILL HOEBEL

General Counsel

As General Counsel, Bill leads PureSky’s legal effort, managing all aspects of its legal affairs. Bill has over a decade of experience as General Counsel for solar developers and installers, having assisted with the development and finance of over 250 megawatts of solar installations throughout the United States.

Bill received his juris doctorate from the University of Denver, graduating with high honors, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado. After graduating from law school, Bill joined an AmLaw 100 law firm in its corporate transactional and international trade practices and, following that, was an associate at a sophisticated boutique firm focused on mergers and acquisitions in the natural resources industries.
