Overview:
The Senior Manager, Real Estate works closely with the Development Team to oversee the development and management of real estate assets for PureSky’s renewable energy portfolio across the United States. The role involves leading a group of real estate experts to ensure successful delivery of projects. Will be heavily involved in leading all real estate efforts as it relates to project financing, title curative, legal contract review, and maintenance of site control. This role supports to the overall direction, implementation, control, and completion of all projects in PureSky’s growing portfolio. Also responsible for maintaining the highest level of integrity and consistency with company values, commitments and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all Real Estate efforts for project financing and tax equity processes, including coordination of due diligence, title curative efforts, and delivery of real estate related documentation.
- Coordinate efforts among landowners, attorneys, surveyors, utilities, title companies and other key project stakeholdersto resolve complex real estate issues.
- Develop and manage budgets and timelines for real estate project deliverables, ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Negotiate land agreements and manage real estate transactionsensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Review site control documents, title commitments, ALTA surveys, and Phase 1 ESAs, etc.
- Oversee the work of real estate team members, providing guidance, support and feedback as needed
- Represent the company in public forums such as town hall meetings, zoning hearings, and community events, as needed, to address real estate concerns and promote project objectives
- Stay up to date on industry best practices, innovations, and emerging technologies to drive continual improvement in real estate management processes
- Provide expertise, as needed, to all real estate matters in support of and to ensure successful delivery of projects
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in energy infrastructure and real estate matters
- Passion for renewable energy with expertise in solar, wind, battery storage project applications preferred
- Degree in real estate, business, finance, energy, law, or related discipline. Graduate degree preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage a team of subject matter experts
- Ability and willingness to report to upper management team confidently and concisely
- Meticulous attention to detail in the review and reporting of complex legal contracts
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel occasionally to project locations
Certifications related to renewable energy and real estate:
- AAPL active member (RL, RPL, CPL preferred AAPL certification)
- Active Notary license
- Participation in relevant industry associations i.e. Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA)
Salary:
Annual Salary $110,000 - $125,000 USD
Bonus Opportunity: 20% of annual salary
